As previously announced, Odido (formerly T-Mobile), Vodafone and KPN will discontinue the 2G network no later than December 1, 2025. Users who do not switch to an alternative solution in time may face problems. This may result, for example, in intrusion alarms no longer being received by the control rooms of Private Alarm Centers (PACs).

As Aritech, we value developments within the security industry. We realize that many Aritech intrusion alarm systems are still operational, and may still be using the 2G network. Therefore, we want to inform and advise you about this situation in a timely manner. Especially the existing and outdated models such as CD, CSx75, ATS Master/Classic and ATS Advanced X000A are in need of an update. In the attachment you will find an advice overview of the possibilities to upgrade your Aritech burglar alarm systems to 4G functionality to keep them up-to-date.

From cooperation security branch organizations FVN, VEB and Techniek Nederland, a website has been created. For more information, visit 2G becomes 4G. As a professional security installer, we recommend that you inform your end users of this development in good time and, if necessary, take appropriate measures to discontinue the 2G network.

Do you have questions about the possibilities of updating your system? Please do not hesitate to contact your account manager or our Customer Service or Technical Support department for expert advice.
